Styx West Palm Beach Concert reviews
Fall off your chair funny!
Mr. Styx had a long relationship with Michael Jackson, enabling him to recapture the legendary profile and image, comparing old school with today's ways effectively. The storytelling highlights of his tax problems and financial mismanagements were especially enjoyable, making the audience believe in the ease with which success can be snuffed away. Mr. Styx, as a standup comedian, has the ability to memorize his audience and has not lost his touch. Although I seldom attend comedy shows due to stale jokes, Mr. Styx clearly demonstrated he still has it. The pre-act comedian did a fantastic warm-up before Styx hit the stage, and it was so funny that it took Mr. Styx a few lines before he could truly woo his audience in laughter after the fabulous warm-up comedian left the stage. The prices for the overall show were too high.
